Speedgate Farm Feeds is situated onsite here at Speedgate Farm. With over 5,000 square foot of feed barn, we stock a wide range of horse and pet products. In the unlikely event that we do not have the product you require, we will try our hardest to stock the item(s) for you.
Our aim is to supply quality feed and bedding at the lowest possible prices.
We have a team of knowledgeable and experienced staff who are always happy to offer help and advice regarding any feed or bedding queries. In a recent customer satisfaction survey 87% of our customers said that we were "very helpful".
The Feed barn is part of our popular Customer Loyalty Scheme so you will earn points for every £ you spend.

Horse Feed
We stock most of the well known animal feed and bedding manufacturers' products. Our Horse Feed selection includes the following: Baileys, Dodson & Horrell, Dengie, Saracen, Spillers, Blue Chip, Top Spec, Mollichaff, Allen & Page, Badminton, Horse Hage, Topscore.
We also sell our own hay, grown here at Speedgate Farm and large bags of carrots. In addition, we offer our own range of feeds including Horse & Pony Cubes and Mix, Conditioning Cubes and Mix and Herbal Cool Mix - all at very competitive prices!

Horse and Animal Bedding
Our range of Horse and other Animal Bedding includes: Home produced Straw, Hunter Wood Shavings, Bedmax, Hemcore, Aubiose, Bed-down Excel, Paper Bedding, Megazorb, Aquamax, Equisorb, Easibed and Wooburn Shavings.

Electric Fencing
We can supply Starter kits made to individual requirements, whole farm systems, replacement conductors (tape, rope & wire) and wide range of insulators, poultry nets as well as various plastic electric fence posts.
We stock Electric fencing from many leading manufacturers including: Agrifence, Fi-Shock, Hotline, Stockshop Wolseley and others.
You can purchase elecrtic fencing from the feed barn or buy on the internet and take advantage of discounted prices online.

Wormers and Frontline
We are licensed to sell Horse, Dog and Cat wormers in the feed barn. Our trained and qualified staff are happy to offer FREE advice on strategic worming and annual programmes.
For Horses, we stock: Equimax, Eraquell, Equest, Equest Pramox, Strongid P (paste & granules) and Panacur (paste & 5-day guard)
For Cats & Dogs, we stock: Panacur (liquid & granules), Drontal and Frontline Spot On.
If you require a wormer which we don't keep in stock please contact us as we may be able to offer an alternative with the same chemical ingredients. We also stock Verm X internal Parasite Repellent which is 100% herbal. Verm X is available for Horses, Dogs, Poulty, Sheep. Goats, Llamas, Alpacas, Game Birds and Racing Pigeons.

Rubber Matting
We have a selection of top quality rubber matting at very competitive prices.
The stable mats come in 6' by 4' (183cm x 123cm) sheets, which are 5/8" (18mm) thick. Prices start at £42.50 inc. VAT. The weight of each mat is around 40kg, although we do stock a lightweight mat which can easily be moved when cleaning. We can offer a quantity discount - please contact us for more details.
Example: 12 x 12 foot stable will require six mats.
Gateway mats have holes which allow the grass to grow through, providing a more solid base in boggy gateways.

Dog, Cat and Small Pet
As well as catering for horses, we stock many makes of pet food, treats and other items. Pedigree, Chudleys, Bakers, Winalot, Butchers, Go-Cat, Whiskas and Kitekat are just some of the ranges we have as well as the Speedgate Dog Feed, which comes in a number of flavours.
Rabbit, Guinea Pig, wild bird seed, peanuts and even ferret food are always in stock. We are able to order in most types of feed so please get in touch.

Poultry and Farm Animal Feed
Having your own laying poultry has become more and more popular in recent years. As well as feed from Chick Crumbs to Layers Pellets, we stock feeders, drinkers and even hutches so you can get everything you need from just one visit - although not the animals!
Mixed Corn, Wheat, Supreme Poultry Corn, Flaked or Rolled Barley, Layers Mash, Poultry Grower Pellets, Flint Grit, Oyster Shell and Flaked Maize are all kept in stock for poultry.
Other animal feed includes Sheep Mix, Goat Mix, Sow and Weaner Pencils and even Llama and Alpaca Mix.

Jumps and Poles
We have a comprehensive range of both wooden and plastic jumps and poles.
Plastic or 'polyjumps' come in a variety of styles and colours. From low level blocks to five foot upright stands, any level of rider will be able to find a pair to suit their standard.
Wooden jumps and poles can be ordered in any colour variations to suit your taste.
