Many of you have spent the last few months preparing for our Ride For Life<\/a> event, gathering sponsors and getting your pink gear<\/a> ready, and we are pleased to say it was a great success! We were truly overwhelmed with your enthusiasm and fundraising, particularly in the extreme temperatures of Saturday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Just under 500 horses came to Speedgate Farm over the weekend for our 7th Ride For Life event, and produced some amazing efforts for our ‘think pink’ theme. Ride For Life has already raised over \u00a3205,000 in previous years, and we are pleased to be adding over \u00a360,000 to this for 2019!<\/p>\n\n\n\n On behalf of Cancer Research UK<\/a> we thank you for your efforts, it is a truly amazing total! We have so many people to thank for the weekend but a special mention goes to Court Lodge Farm Horse Riding<\/a> for allowing us to use a section of their land, Virbac UK Equine<\/a> for sponsoring the medals, Nettex Equine<\/a> for supplying Electrolytes, all of our marshals for giving up their weekend and of course to you the riders for raising so much for such a worthy cause.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Those of you that qualify for the following incentive prizes will be contacted in due course:-<\/p>\n\n\n\n Once again, thank you to everyone that came and supported the event – we hope you all enjoyed the weekend as much as we did.
