Saturday 25th February 2023<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Saturday 25th<\/sup> February was our first British Dressage event after our Winter Area Festival. Our riders were keen to get back down the centre line, despite it being a bitterly cold day. With the weather having remained dry over the weeks, we were still able to use the show field for parking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We had tests ranging from Prelim, through to Inter 1 it was as always lovely to see regular and new competitors. We started the day off with Prelim 15, and it was Gillian Pronger and her lovely coloured horse, Langaller Sheridan\u2019s Lad, who were first down the centre line. As the class progressed, it was the turn of Pauline French and her coloured horse Stan. This combination produced a lovely test, to be our first winners of the day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the Prelim 19, it was our final combination, Hollie-Ann Head and her gorgeous pony Farino Poppy, who delivered a wonderful test to win the second class of the day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We moved on to the Novice 23 test and once again it was our final combination of the class, Maria Pook and her stunning horse Hillgrounds Flawrita who executed a lovely test to be our winners. They then went on to their second victory of the day in the Novice 37A class.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The remaining classes of the day got underway with the Elementary 45 class. These classes were slightly quieter in numbers, but the standard of riding was going to be very competitive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lee Frawley and Waldon Wild Skye were our Elementary 45 winners. Corrie Faultley and the very handsome, Caliboy v Bareelhof Z took double victories in the Elementary 53 and Medium 69. Esmee Robinson and Nibeley Euphoria won our Medium 73 class. Becky Morrish and her wonderful stallion, Armentero became our third double victory winning combination of the day, with wins in both Advanced Medium classes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jessica Whitehead and The Amazing Spiderman were our final pair of the day to dance down the centre line. This partnership delivered a very pleasing Inter 1 test and they were our final winners of the day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once again congratulations to all our deserving winners and thank you to everyone that competed and supported the show.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
