The top two competitors in each class scoring above 63% would qualify for the Petplan Equine Area Festival Summer Championships being held at Arena UK 7<sup>th<\/sup>-10<sup>th<\/sup>&nbsp;October 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The weather was exceedingly hot but it was not going to deter any of the competitors. As always it was lovely to see our regular faces, but it was also nice to meet everyone that was visiting us for the first time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>E-pix photography were in attendance for the four days and all their images can be viewed and purchased from their website&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.e-pix.co.uk\/\"><strong>https:\/\/www.e-pix.co.uk<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Congratulations once again to all our deserving winners over the four days, and we wish every one of our qualifying combinations the very best of luck at the Championships at Arena UK.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On Saturday 24<sup>th<\/sup>&nbsp;July we had our unaffiliated dressage event. The day started off with the Intro B class, and it was Clare Taaffe and Hygrove Percy who were our first combination down the centre line. They completed their test to finish on a respectable score of 65.00%, which was eventually going to give them third place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Intro B<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Judge: Alison Prestidge<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1<sup>st<\/sup>&nbsp;Karen Edwards and Sacheverall 66.96% (68)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2<sup>nd<\/sup>&nbsp;Eliza Coveney and Forteebtoo First Attempt 65.22% (66)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3<sup>rd<\/sup>&nbsp;Clare Taaffe and Hygrove Percy 65.00% (67)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>4<sup>th<\/sup>&nbsp;Danielle Finlay and Echo 65.00% (66)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>5<sup>th<\/sup>&nbsp;Sarah Caiger and Beau 62.17% (62)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>6<sup>th<\/sup>&nbsp;Stephanie Baker and Merlin Enchanting Sorcerer 61.09% (62)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Prelim 7 was the next test to follow and third to go was Serena Kidd and her lovely horse Blaencrymlyn Red Kite, who produced a lovely test to take the second victory of the day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Prelim 7<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Judge: Alison Prestidge<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1<sup>st<\/sup>&nbsp;Serena Kidd and Blaencrymlyn Red Kite 66.59% (68)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2<sup>nd<\/sup>&nbsp;Gill Cufley and Indiana Spring 65.00% (65)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3<sup>rd<\/sup>&nbsp;Shirley Stewart and Patch 64.09% (65)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>4<sup>th<\/sup>&nbsp;Rebecca Johnston and Dubai 62.50% (64)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>5<sup>th<\/sup>&nbsp;Stephanie Baker and Merlin Enchanting Sorcerer 62.50% (63)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>6<sup>th<\/sup>&nbsp;Sarah Caiger and Beau 59.55% (60)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The day continued with Prelim 13 and it was our second to last combination, Charles Rogers and the very handsome Vinnie (IL Divo) who executed a wonderful test, to be able to claim the third win of the day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Prelim 13<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Judge: Alison Prestidge<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1<sup>st<\/sup>&nbsp;Charles Rogers and Vinnie (IL Divo) 68.08% (68)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2<sup>nd<\/sup>&nbsp;Vickie Halford and Ellie 66.35% (67)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3<sup>rd<\/sup>&nbsp;Gill Cufley and Indiana Spring 65.00% (65)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>4<sup>th<\/sup>&nbsp;Courtney Escudier and Kildrenagh Rocket 64.81% (66)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>5<sup>th<\/sup>&nbsp;Rebecca Johnston and Dubai 64.62% (66)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>6<sup>th<\/sup>&nbsp;Viv Howie and EFS Khamsin Eclipse 64.04% (65)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our last test of the day was Novice 30 and the class was soon underway. With classes running from Prelims all the way through to PSG, it was a pleasing turnout.
