Our Fun Dressage show took place on Sunday 1st<\/sup> November. The weather started off a little unpredictable, but it soon blew over to being just a blustery day. This show allowed all our competitors a chance to dress up in fancy dress or come as they are. Halloween was most certainly embraced by those that chose to dress up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Our first test of the day to be ridden was the Intro B, and it was Tamsine Owlett and Smurf that got the days competition underway. All dressed up, they headed down the centre line and rode a lovely test to gain a score of 60.22%, which was eventually going to gain them forth place. As the class progressed, it became the turn of Eloise McKean and her striking horse, Vivian. This partnership executed a wonderful test to gain a score of 66.52% and to take the first win of the day. Sienna Vickers and Marydoll became our first fancy dress winners of the day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Intro B<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Judge: Alison Prestidge<\/p>\n\n\n\n 1st<\/sup> Eloise Mckean and Vivian 66.52% (67)<\/p>\n\n\n\n 2nd<\/sup> Kay Wayland-Jones and Pegasa 64.56% (67)<\/p>\n\n\n\n 3rd<\/sup> Summer Vickers and Chance 61.30% (61)<\/p>\n\n\n\n 4th<\/sup> Tamsine Owlett and Smurf 60.22% (59)<\/p>\n\n\n\n 5th<\/sup> Ruby Webber and Penrhis Marcus 60.00% (60)<\/p>\n\n\n\n 6th<\/sup> Sienna Vickers and Marydoll 55.87% (55)<\/p>\n\n\n\n Prelim 14 followed on and it was Eloise and Vivien who were first to head down the centre line. With another lovely test ridden, this duo produced a score of 65.77% which was going to set the standard of the class. It soon became the turn of Shirley Stewart and Castlemaine Patch. This pair had most certainly embraced the fancy dress option, as well as delivering a lovely test. Finishing on a score of 65.58% they were just pipped to a higher placing by one collective mark. However, all their efforts for the fancy dress did pay off as they became our second fancy dress winners for the day. Hayley Whisker and Ryehill Crystal were one of our final competitors in the class, and they produced a lovely forward test to gain a score of 66.54%.
