Sunday 13th<\/sup> October saw the last of our combined training shows for the season. With the parking being limited to the hardstanding only, it was lovely to see all our riders being so considerate to their fellow competitors regarding the parking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The weather continued to be a little testing on the day, but we were all set for a great day of competition and everyone was in good spirits. The first class got underway with the Intro C\/45-55cm class. It was the lovely combination of Kiera George and Eric, who after dressage had a score of 27.39 penalties, and then with a very nice clear round in the show jumping section, finished on their dressage score to take the first victory of the day. Judge: Pippa Doran<\/p>\n\n\n\n 1st<\/sup> Kiera George and Eric 27.3<\/p>\n\n\n\n 2nd<\/sup> Jessica Edwards and Dream 32.7<\/p>\n\n\n\n 3rd<\/sup> Holly Spalding and Midnight Junebug 34.1<\/p>\n\n\n\n 4th<\/sup> Emma Taylor and Janton the Entrepreneur 37.8<\/p>\n\n\n\n 5th<\/sup> Gemma hay and Stella 38.0<\/p>\n\n\n\n 6th<\/sup> Amie Elcott and Gizmo 40.8<\/p>\n\n\n\n The second class followed straight on, and with only four combinations jumping clear, the dressage scores were really going to count. In this class it was Samantha Cotter that produced a wonderful dressage score of 69.8%. After their dressage test they carried forward 30.2 penalties, so with a clear round and nothing to add, their score meant that it was going to take the second victory of the day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Class 2: Prelim 15 – 60\/70cm<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Judge: Karla Knapp<\/p>\n\n\n\n 1st<\/sup> Samantha Cotter and Zokylandra 30.2<\/p>\n\n\n\n 2nd<\/sup> Robyn Willard and Lisnahall Wishful Thinking 34.4<\/p>\n\n\n\n 3rd<\/sup> Shirley Stewart and Castlemaine Patch 35.8<\/p>\n\n\n\n 4th<\/sup> Georgia Blewden and Roan Valley Guy 39.8<\/p>\n\n\n\n 5th<\/sup> Louisa Theodorakis and Grey Rose Glory 44.0<\/p>\n\n\n\n 6th<\/sup> Kayleigh Hollands and Mattsfield Bailey 49.4<\/p>\n\n\n\n Classes 3 and 4 were quieter classes, and the first to go in the Prelim 17A\/75-85cm class was Louise Parkin and the lovely Whoopi. With a score of 66.03% after their dressage test, they carried forward 33.9 penalties into the show jumping section. The final class of the day was the 90\/95cm class. It was Sarah Howarth and the lovely Morse that came forward to ride the Elementary 45 test, and then jumped a lovely clear round, in which to finish on a score of 33.4 penalties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
