With just under a month to go before the qualification period finishes for the Summer Area Festival and Regional Championships, we were privileged to have so many combinations entered for our mid-week British Dressage event.
Some riders were still trying to get those last few important qualifying scores and some riders were with us for the first time, in which to test out the venue. Either way, it was lovely to see lots of regular faces and meet many new ones.
With a full schedule running from Prelim through to Advanced Medium, and with Freestyle classes included, there were a lot of centre lines to get through.
In addition to the dressage, we had the lovely Camilla Mullholland from TopSpec on the showground. She was available with the weighbridge and to be able to give our riders free and friendly nutritional advice for their horses.
TopSpec also kindly donated four tubs of electrolytes to be given as prizes. We decided that we would present these prizes to the highest scoring test at each level from Prelim to Medium. Our lucky winners of these prizes were Elisabeth Swann (Prelim), Emily Nicol (Novice), Paula Sheldon (Ele) and Sue Penny (Med). Congratulations to you all and a huge thank you to TopSpec, for your generosity.

We have just two British Dressage events left before the qualifying period closes. They are on Sunday 16th June and Wednesday 26th June and entries are currently still open. If you are planning to come and compete with us on any of these dates, then please enter as soon as possible to avoid any disappointment.
