As the Great British weather is as unpredictable as ever, ensure you are prepared and know the rules for the dress code at our Dressage competitions.
Regular Weather
- Any single colour, uniform short jacket is allowed
- Single colour tailcoats can be worn for Advanced tests and upwards
- Tweed jackets are permitted but must not have bold patterns
- Accents such as modest patterns or crystals are permitted
- A correctly tied stock/white round collar or shirt and tie must be worn
- Navy jackets with red collars, points or white piping signifying a British Team rider must not be worn
Hot Weather
- Competitors can choose to ride without jackets in regular competitions
- A fitted waistcoat in any single colour can be worn
- Accents are permitted but no bold patterns or multicolours
- A long or short sleeved shirt of solid colour that fastens at the neck with a tie, white collar, or stock must be worn
- In all Championships, Regionals and Area Festivals a jacket must be worn unless permission has been given at the discretion of the organiser and judges
Wet Weather
- Plain, dark-coloured or transparent coats may be worn
- Exercise sheets for your horse are not permitted
