HAAS have been producing grooming products for nearly 100 years using specifically selected materials. Combined with craftmanship and modern technology, their brushes feature exceptional quality.
Much of the manufacturing process is done by hand for excellent precision and super longevity. The hand loop and bristles are directly incorporated into the body of the brush without the use of glue, screws or nails for safe brushes with excellent bristle retention that will be reliable for years.
All HAAS brushes are also water resistant so they can be washed without spoiling them for hygienic grooming. Their shape and design allow for comfortable handling, whilst the shatter resistant backs add to their longevity.
Based on the theory that horses have different coat and skin textures in relation to their coat colour, brushes should be selected accordingly. For the ultimate deep groom, HAAS brushes should be used in four steps.
Step One
Remove dust right from the skin using a brush with bristles similar to the coat.
Diamond Wurzel – Dense synthetic rice root bristles that remove stubborn dirt.
Parcour– Made from grey horsehair with a black horsehair border, this brush is most effective on dark bay or black horses to remove dried sweat and dirt.
Step Two
Remove the dirt from the top of the coat that was brought up in step one.
Cavaliere – Made from robust mane and tail hair, the border bristles on this brush are slightly longer to lift grime and leave a shine.
Welsh – Made from supersoft pure grey horsehair, perfect for sensitive horses. The bristles lock into the coat for deep cleaning.
Step Three
Remove any remaining residue and begin to create a glossy shine.
Amazone –Selected horsehair promotes blood circulation and creates a shine.
Diamond Classic – Longer border bristles remove dirt, whilst the densely packed soft bristles make the coat shine.
Step Four
The final brush for a polished look that is show ready.
Diva Exklusiv – Made from lambswool with a border of soft horsehair. A final polishing brush for sensitive horses.
Micro Diva – A mini version of the Diva Exklusiv, made with lambswool it is ideal for the face and any awkward areas for final touches.
