Wednesday 18th February
Our First Clear Round of the Year – What a Day!
We held our very first Clear Round of the year on Wednesday 18th February — and what a fantastic turnout it was!
Although the weather was definitely on the chilly side, we were lucky that it stayed dry, which always feels like a win at this time of year. Wrapped up warm and ready to go, everyone brought great energy to the day.
A Class for Everyone
One of the best things about a Clear Round is that it really is for everyone, and this event proved exactly that. We had:
- First-timers having their very first go at jumping
- Riders stepping up to a new height
- A few nervous combinations wanting to get out and about in a relaxed, supportive setting
- Confident partnerships using it as a positive schooling opportunity
- And some great adult and child combinations alike
It was brilliant to see so many riders achieving personal goals — whatever that looked like for them on the day.
Supportive, Friendly & Encouraging
The atmosphere throughout the day was relaxed, friendly and genuinely supportive. Spectators and competitors cheered each other on and were quick to praise riders for their efforts — whether it was a first clear, a step up in height, or simply getting round confidently.
Thank you to everyone who came along and helped create such a positive environment. It made for a really enjoyable day all round.
Next Clear Round – Save the Date!
We’re already looking forward to the next one, which will be held on Friday 17th April. Whether you’re thinking of having your first go, stepping up a height, or just fancy a fun and friendly outing, we’d love to see you there.
Keep an eye out for more details coming soon — and in the meantime, here’s to many more clears this year!
