Speedgate’s Unaffiliated Dressage Results

Sunday 25th October 2020

Sunday 25th October saw good entries for the last of our unaffiliated dressage events of the season. The first class of the day was the Pick Your Own Intro class. Lauren Bennett and her lovely young horse, Claramore First Prince, were our first combination of the day to head down the centre line. It was their first time out to a competition, and they delivered a lovely test to achieve a score of 68.70%.

Freja Noble-Jennings and her ride, Mackey Connie’s Boy, headed down the centre line for the first of their two tests in this class. The smart combination completed their first test with an outstanding score of 73.91%. This score was going to give them the first victory of the day. Another of our combinations with two tests in this class was Tara Thompson and her striking horse Carousel. Again, this pair delivered two consistent tests in which to gain two of the top six placings.

Congratulations once again to all our deserving winners of the day. Well done to all our competitors that came and competed. We are very grateful for your continued support at our events.

Our current Covid-19 competition restrictions has meant that we have not been able to have any spectators on the show ground this season and there have been no score boards to view. We would like to thank everyone who has adhered to this new way of competing, which has helped all riders to compete safely and enabled us to continue to provide you with lots of competitions.

We will now over the winter months be working towards our 2021 competition dates, and these will be announced as soon as we have them all confirmed. We very much look forward to seeing you all again heading down those centre lines!
